1959 Triumph TR3A, beautiful older restoration in excellent shape, two owners in the last 35 years and always stored in a climate-controlled garage. All original floorboards and frame with NO signs of rot or repair. Recent brake work with all rebuilt calipers, new pads, and a new master cylinder. The paint, although not perfect, shows only very minor flaws. Light green leather interior is in excellent shape with no rips, tears or signs of wear. The cockpit includes a rebuilt tachometer and a Lempart steering wheel. The car comes with a convertible top and a parade boot, a tonneau cover, and a California car cover, all in excellent shape except the car cover which has some minor staining. The trunk area is very nice and comes with a jack and handle. The engine has been upgraded to a TR4 motor and an overdrive transmission. Other features include fresh battery, tires, auxiliary fan, gear reduction starter, and an exhaust system with a newer muffler and resonator. It rides on chrome spoke rims and knockoffs with Vredstein tires.
The car has 84,940 miles. It has been professionally inspected and is road-ready for the next ‘Cars-and-Caffeine’ event or car show. The car handles well on the road and is dependable — perfect for a summer drive. It is everything you would want in a British sports car.
