We are looking for an experienced mechanic/technician that is comfortable restoring and customizing a variety of classic and custom cars as well as being proficient with overall automotive mechanics for cars all of types. Our team is known for our high attention to detail, commitment to customer service, unique custom builds and showroom quality restorations. We have assembled a team of world-class technicians and fabricators that work well together, respect each other, maintain a drama-free environment and focus on exceeding our customer’s expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician that has a solution-based, 24/7 mindset to support a growing shop and brand during a period of substantial growth. What could be cooler than that?

Responsibilities of this role:
  • Perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the vehicle is performing appropriately
  • Provide high-level customer service for our clients
  • Perform various repairs and maintenance that involve OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, electrical systems, interior/exterior components, engine and driveline components
  • Create and maintain vehicle histories and maintenance records
  • Handle custom engine & transmission installation, electrical wiring & diagnostics, suspension & brake installations, final body assemblies such as exterior trim, bumpers, some glasswork, interior assembly work and general interior assembly
  • Work collaboratively and maintain a strong working relationship with the entire team
  • Show a genuine interest in finding solutions and helping others when needed
  • Plan and direct work to ensure that the organizational goals are achieved, our customers are satisfied, and best practices are upheld
The Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience repairing, restoring and maintaining classic cars, hot rods, vintage vehicles and special interest vehicles is required
  • Must have experience working in a high-volume garage. We are not looking for a home hobbyist
    Familiar with operation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand power tools, shop tools, and automotive and electrical test equipment
  • Must have strong diagnostic skills in a wide range of automotive systems including electrical and mechanical
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of carburetion and points style ignition
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems
  • Advanced knowledge of OBDII systems
  • Maintain professionalism, strict confidentiality, and exercise discretion at all times
  • Ability to maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a passion for working on classic cars
  • Ability to multi-task, shift priorities and focus on finding solutions in an ever-changing work environment that sometimes experiences last-minute changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Proper usage of OSHA-approved safety equipment including gloves, eyewear, etc.
  • Must have a strong capacity for working independently and collaboratively
  • Treat our internal team, external partners, and clients with dignity and respect
  • Must be highly collaborative with a “We” not “Me” mentality
  • Able to adjust and thrive within a fast-paced work environment with unpredictable deadlines and schedules
  • Secure enough in yourself to be able to ask for help, say “I don’t know” and always learn from your mistakes
